I'd found sateliite cakes in a magazine and
I went all over town to see if I could find someone who would be able to duplicate
them. Patisserie C was the last place I went to and I immediately felt at ease.

shop opened in mid-May in Plaza Escalante just east of Downtown. Patisserie C makes
colorful cakes for birthdays, graduations and baby showers, and decorates them with
whimiscal chocolate plaques, edible drawings and buttercream designs.

wedding cake was the talk of the day (in fact the whole
weekend--we've had a houseful of guests all weekend and
everyone has loved snacking on the leftovers). I don't
know how many people have told me it was the best wedding
cake they ever had. One aunt told me she never eats wedding
cake because it just isn't worth it. But when her husband
gave her a bite of his, she was in awe and quickly got
her own piece and ate several more pieces here Saturday
night. Not only was it wonderful to eat, it was spectacular
to see. Truly a work of art. Thank you again."
